Position Summary

 

The Account Executive (AE) is a full-time position on the D-Tools' sales team. The AE is responsible for converting inbound prospects to customers and identifying new business opportunities using a consultative sales process. Based in our Atlanta office, the AE will report directly to the Director of Sales. The AE will be responsible for selling into and managing a territory to be determined, and will be supported by D-Tools marketing and support staff.

 

Primary Responsibilities

 

  • Manage prospect and customer database in D-Tools CRM system
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of our entire product suite and effectively sell to clients through phone conversations, face-to-face meetings, and online product demonstrations
  • Respond to qualified prospects via phone and email
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales quota
  • Qualify and forecast deals accurately
  • Engage with prospective customers using a consultative sales approach
  • Discuss the D-Tools' product line and features with prospective clients
  • Perform online demonstrations
  • Manage and upsell existing clients
  • Travel as needed for industry tradeshow and events
  • Work with Director of Sales to create and execute territory plans
  • Provide outstanding customer service throughout the sales process

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years sales experience or equivalent
  • Self-motivated, high-energy team player
  • CRM experience (Salesforce.com, Zoho, Netsuite, etc.),
  • Understanding of solution selling and challenger sales methodologies (value-based, ROI)
  • Prior experience selling B2B software solutions, a plus
  • Understanding of the low voltage industry, a plus
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish, a plus

 

Compensation: Compensation for this position is a combination of salary plus commission. The average annual earnings (OTE) for this position is up to $100K+ plus Commissions based on performance.
